Honest location tracking

Yeah Buddy was a safety-focused app allowing friends and family to monitor each other's wellbeing and location - similar to Life360 - through check-ins, location sharing, and safety alerts.

Challenge

The Yeah Buddy team came to Precode with an idea for a safety app and strong existing branding they wanted to maintain. Our challenge was to design a clean, easy-to-use app for people of all ages on both iPhone and Android - covering registration, alert setup, geofencing, settings, and all user journeys.

Impact

In a single 5-day UX Sprint, we created every screen the development team needed to build the app: complete registration and onboarding flows, alert setup, geofence configuration, settings, all happy and unhappy paths, plus a comprehensive design kit including full UI kit, colour scheme, and typography system. The complete handover package gave their development team everything required to start building immediately with zero ambiguity.
